Óbidos – The Medieval Market
I said in my previous post that I would do a video about Óbidos, and so I did. About this village there is much to say and so, in my previous post I ended up not saying that beyond the Medieval Market of Óbidos, also occurs at this location every year the Chocolate Festival.
Every year over 200 thousand visitors come to Óbidos for the sole purpose of enjoying of the world’s most popular element.
In my personal opinion, I think Óbidos is an example of what is good management. This type of event has boosted tourism in this location very significantly in the last years.
Focusing on the medieval market again, one thing a person can do in the medieval market, is instead of paying admission and visit the reserved part of the Medieval Market, any of us can participate. We rent medieval clothes and the payment of such clothing allows free entry in the reserved area of the market.
It is certainly a unique way to participate in the great celebration that is the Medieval Market.

Aveiro Flashback!
In order to celebrate more than 100 likes on Portugal Photo Tours Facebook page, I decided to make a short video of a past post, more precisely about the city of Aveiro. One of my favorite cities.
Portugal Photo Tours will be mainly about photos of special places of Portugal, but that does not mean that there will be no surprises.
I still have one more feature to add to the site, and I hope to have it completed in the next few days.
