Boca do Inferno
Near Cascais there’s a very touristic place named Boca do Inferno (Portuguese for Hell’s Mouth).
It has been a while since my last visit, but last month I managed to go there on my holidays. The place is nothing more than a big pit/gulf in the seaside cliffs. With the years it became a very popular touristic attraction.
The name given to the place may be because one of two things: a story, legend or not, about a love affair, or the strong sound that waves do when water splashes against the cliffs, especially with nasty weather.

Guincho beach
One of the best things in Portugal are the beaches. I’ll try to show you most of them, especially the most popular ones.
An excellent place for water sports is Guincho beach. Here you can practice surf, bodyboarding, windsurf and kite-surfing under great conditions. It is very windy what makes this a very popular place.
